Hey guys and dolls, I’m sorry for the delay in my blog posts but I’ve been really sick these past few days and haven’t done much but lay in bed (ringing my sick bell in hopes that someone will come take care of me). However, I want to give you a brief recap of some of the shots I captured from the remainder of Art Basel Miami Beach 2012.
The entire week was filled with so many different events covering art, fashion, music, celebrities, etc. that I couldn’t possibly fit everything in here. Once I’m feeling 100% better, I will post some styled shoots and update my video channel. I know for a fact that you don’t want me to film a video right now because I sound like a man and I probably look like the bride of Frankenstein too.
Ladies and gents, it’s about that time of year again…Art Basel 2012. For those of you who aren’t too familiar with Art Basel, it is the most notable gathering of people from all over the world and it attracts the most internationally renowned artists, collectors, celebrities, gallerists, journalists, socialists and trendsetters. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) North Miami and Vanity Fair kicked off this week’s series of events with the MOCA & Vanity Fair International Party which was privately held at MOCA last night. This particular event also featured a major exhibition of work by Bill Voila, one of the leading practitioners of video art. Vanity Fair’s International Party was made possible by Vanity Fair, Vanity Fair Italy, Vanity Spain, Belvedere Vodka, Phillips de Pury & Company, Stella McCartney and Art Net Worth.
Who’s who in the world of art and fashion were in attendance last night, as well as Actor Christian Slater, Olga Sorokina, Bruce Weber, and many others. I’ll be attending a few more events this week for Art Basel 2012 which I’ll most likely post recaps of, including tonight’s invite-only Art Basel Vernissage, an exhibition at Christian Louboutin, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh’s invite-only Art of Basketball event, as well as Harper’s Bazaar’s Pop Up. Follow me on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to keep up!
