Valentine's Day Gift Guide: For Her

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, which can be quite tricky to shop for. Whether you've been with your significant other for four days or four years, there's something for everybody. The difficult part is attempting to figure out what suits that special lady in your life (your girlfriend, wife, partner, BFF, dog). For example, you don't want to miss the concept completely and overlook the situation, but you could also misread the connection and go over the top. Although I'm pretty sure going over the top doesn't apply in many cases. Regardless, these are my top ten selections of gift ideas for her on Valentine's Day. One can't really go wrong with skincare, makeup, jewelry, shoes, handbags, lingerie, perfume, and lace panties in the form of flowers. Of course, buying a Cartier bangle is not applicable to all situations.

A Daytime Date

Happy Valentine's Day, lovelies!  It's pretty apparent that a fabulous pair of shoes completes almost any outfit, so today's post features my new partner in crime (ankle strapped heels of course).  I've been loving this style of shoe because it's classic yet chic enough to pair with anything.  Although I opted for a feminine look, they can also be dressed down with leather sweatpants or shorts.

After searching for the perfect pair of black ankle strapped heels, I discovered these beauties from Traffic Shoe.  The appearance doesn't even do them justice because they are surprisingly miraculously comfortable (especially for a two-year-old chasing mommy).

What I'm rocking:
Top by F21 | Skirt by Express | Shirt by F21 | Sunglasses by Lacoste
Bag by JPK | Heels by Traffic Shoe

New Video: Valentine's Day to Night Looks

Hey lovers!  For today's blog post I have a few Valentine's Day looks that can be transformed from day to night outfits, whether it is from work to a dinner date or a casual day followed by a night out with the girls.  One of my tricks for transforming this look is to rock a romantic dress as a top during the day and then pull it down while removing the skinny jeans at night.  To add some flare for the evening, I also added a glitzy blazer and some feminine jewelry as well.  I also switched my heels from a neutral tone to a more vibrant color at night.  Enjoy, and let me know if you try these out :)

What I'm Rocking in the Video:
Daytime Look
H&M peplum blazer
H&M lace dress
Target belt
F21 skinnies
H&M pumps

Evening Look
H&M lace dress
Boutique sequin blazer
ALDO pumps
Guess watch
F21 jewelry

OOTD: Valentine's Day Look & National Commercial Feature!

Happy Tuesday everyone!  If you read my Healthy Habits: How I Lost 55 Pounds in Two Months post, then you know that I lost my baby weight by doing the Insanity workout program.  My results were great so the creators of the program (Shaun T and Beachbody) flew me to New York to film the newest Insanity commercial.  For my recap of that trip, check out NYC Trip and Insanity Commercial Part I and NYC Trip and Insanity Commercial Part II.  After much anticipation, the commercial aired nationally over this past weekend and I'm so excited to share it with all of you.  The excitement is not strictly because I was featured in the commercial, but the hard work that paid off with my weight loss story.

I also want to share today's OOTD, which is a perfect look for Valentine's Day.  Pairing neutral colors with neon pink and sequins creates a fun yet classy look that remains romantic for this type of occasion.

What I'm Rocking:
H&M blazer & lace dress
ALDO heels
F21 earrings & ring
Guess watch
