OOTD: Leather

Hey guys.  If you watched my recent haul on my YouTube channel then you will recognize this gorgeous top that I styled in today's outfit of the day.  Not only is it comfortable, but it's so chic and beautiful.  I decided to give it a bit of an edge by pairing it with some leather shorts and polish it up with a brocade printed blazer.  I wore this to a new restaurant opening here in Miami and it's the perfect dressy yet casual look if you ask me.  It's not too much, not too less.

What I'm wearing:
Kardashian for Bebe blazer (older season)
BCBG Maxazria high-low top
H&M leather shorts
Rialto authentic Italian leather bag

OOTD: Predator of Fashion

Hi everyone!  For today's OOTD, I am excited to bring out some of my fall and winter pieces which I have combined by adding my favorite fall scarf and tall boots to complete the look.  Although I don't get to wear scarves much in Miami, it's one accessory that I can add to an outfit to make me feel as though it's somewhat cold outside :)

Oh, and somebody else decided to show up in some of these shots.

What I'm wearing:
ZARA top
ZARA scarf
Bebe skinny jeans
Target boots
JPK shoulder bag
F21 bracelet
Guess watch
H&M headband

What Taejin's wearing:
Baby Gap sweatshirt
ZARA Baby scarf
Baby Gap shorts
Baby Gap shoes and socks
Jordan hat

New Video: How to Style a Denim Shirt

For some reason, I love Tuesdays and I'm not quite sure why.  The reason could be that it isn't the dreadful Monday OR because tonight is the private press reception to kick off Funkshion Fashion Week in Miami.  October 9th-12th is officially Funkshion Fashion Week which is always fun to check out if you're in the Miami area.  They have some pretty good designers lined up for this year's rendezvous of events.  After attending tonight's private press event I will post the line-up and do a little recap as well.

I recently posted a new video on my YouTube channel www.youtube.com/LynseeHeeKyeong where I show you how to style a denim shirt.  Well, it showcases how I style my denim shirt(s).  As many of you may already know, denim shirts are my go-to piece!  Enjoy :)

OOTD: Night Out - Paint the Town..Tangerine!

Although I haven't posted many OOTD's for a "night out" or "date nights," I absolutely love this dress for a night out on the town.  It's the perfect sexy, yet completely comfortable dress for a date night with your boyfriend or a simple night out with friends.  The bandage look of the dress reminds me of Herve Leger; however, this one is Guess by Marciano.  The tangerine color is gorgeous as well.  It's the perfect dress with a pop of color to make you stand out.  I've paired it with a neutral blazer if it gets chilly at night, along with my DIY heels.

This look was also featured in my YouTube styling video for transforming summer to fall pieces, which can be seen here

What I'm wearing:
Gifted dress by Guess by Marciano

New Video! How to: Transform Summer to Fall Pieces

Although the season is changing, that doesn't mean your entire wardrobe has to!  One of my tricks for keeping summer items around for the upcoming season is to layer pieces and learn to complement them well.  There are some pieces in my closet that I find work well in all seasons.  It's all about pairing them together with other season-friendly items (and of course you don't want to rock your Summer bikini in the Fall).

For example, keeping brightly colored tops, dresses, skirts, or even shorts around in the upcoming season can easily be achieved by adding layers.  I love the jewel tone trend this season; however, my heart will always be with pops of color as well.  I'm also loving the mixing of patterns for this season.  When it comes to fashion, I believe anything can be pulled off if you have the confidence to rock it!  Check out my How to: Transform Summer to Fall Pieces video below:

How to: Quick and Chic Ponytail

Hey honeys!  I don't know about any of you, but there are some days where I don't feel like making a huge production out of my hair or putting much effort into it.  Therefore, I created this chic method of throwing my hair back while keeping it quick and easy to achieve.  It's a great way to give your hair an effortlessly classy look.

What you will need:
Styling spray
Hairbrush
Small plastic hair ties
One large hair tie

1) Gather all of the items you will need to achieve this style.

2) Carefully start pulling all of your hair back into a sleek ponytail.

3) Secure the ponytail with a large hair tie.

4) Now you have a simply ponytail.

5) Start securing small hair ties throughout the length of your hair, leaving about 1-inch between each separation.

6) Spray some styling spray to keep any stray hairs down.

7) Voila!  Now you have a quick and chic ponytail that goes with anything.

3 Ways To Wear A White Blazer For The Season

One of my favorite wardrobe staples is a classic white blazer, as it complements various items in my closet.  What's great about a white blazer is that it can neutralize your look and dress it up or down.  The looks that I've put together for today's post are more tailored to the spring season; however, it's completely up to you and what you have in your closet.

City Girl Chic

For this look, I've paired a striped top with some bright lace shorts to give it a feminine touch yet keep it a little structured.  Pair it with a floppy hat, some classic black heels, and throw on your white blazer to complete this city chic look which is perfect for a daytime lunch with the girls.
Playfully Elegant

This look is completely feminine, which is why I love it so much.  Although I am constantly expressing my adoration for menswear as women's attire, there is something even more powerful about a glam look designed for an elegant woman.   I've paired a tiered tutu skirt with a neutral sequin top along with some Mary-Jane bow accented heels to further enhance the girlish look.

Weekend Casual

There is no reason why any woman/mother can't run her weekend errands and still remain stylish while doing so.  Therefore, I would rock this look to run some quick errands or do some shopping in the city.  Rompers are my go-to spring and summer items because they are cute yet simple.  I've added a neutral braided belt in addition to these low chunky heels for comfort. Pair it with a rolled up white blazer and you're ready to go!
