Lo and behold, I find myself back in Miami Beach after a long trip home to see my family and a quick little business affair in the city that never sleeps (New York City).  Relaxing, in both the literal and sartorial sense, has never really been my forte.  I somehow tend to end up as the apparently overdressed  person at the movie theater or 5-inch heels as I peruse through a grocery store.  On the other hand, anybody can appreciate a great wide leg pant or jumpsuit for comfort and style.

One of the simplest go-to pieces that has infested itself in my closet is a jumpsuit - there's something easy and breezy about throwing on a no-fuss one-piece that makes even the worst days improve.  A monochromatic look also keeps the look chic without bombarding the piece.

Against the Grain

In lieu of going along with the typical "no white after Labor Day" fashion stigma, I've teamed up with fresh and vibrant brand, Missguided, for this monochromatic look.  Although I'm a firm believer in taking inspiration from various avenues when it comes to wardrobe selections, Fall/Winter in Miami isn't exactly grounds for wearing five layers of clothes with dark color swatches only.  Lo and behold, Lynsee is wearing white after Labor Day and it feels pretty damn fabulous (and breathable).

Contrasting cuts of this crop top and pencil skirt give the overall look an interesting appeal that keep one from looking like marshmallow man, and the gray skyscraper heels introduce that Fall gray trend without going overboard.  A great way to introduce trends into your wardrobe is by incorporating it in through accessories.
