Now that the Fourth of July is right around the corner, it's time to start thinking about what to wear for the occasion that will not only be comfortable but chic throughout the day. One of my Summer staple pieces is a romper because it can be dressed up with a pair of heels or worn a little more casual. For a Summer cookout, I like to throw on a lightweight romper like this one from ATIKSHOP, and some block-heel sandals for a look that is effortless and completely wearable.
It's dreadfully hot where I reside, so this romper comes in handy when I feel like walking around naked but need to wear clothes (obviously). I also add a shoulder or cross-body bag for an easygoing handbag that won't weigh too much since I'll probably be moving around quite a bit and playing with my little guy. A bag like this also makes the legs appear slightly longer, as it hits right below the length of the romper.
As for accessories, I keep it pretty light with a nude wrap watch and braided belt to cinch the romper at my waist.
