First of all, I have to apologize for the delay in blog posting but I was recently in New York for a brief trip and had some technical difficulties. However, I flew back to Miami (and yes, I am blogging at 1:25 AM) and the first thing that I needed to do was post an outfit of the day for you all. Despite the atrocious reputation the plaid pattern has had in the past, it's been quite the trend for the fall/winter season and I've slowly developed a love for the print.
It's one of those patterns that can be diversified by rocking it casually with a blazer and jeans or even dressed down with leather sweatpants. Surprisingly enough, there are a number of ways to style a plaid shirt other than throwing it on in the hopes of looking like a lumberjack.
To give this a classic look, I paired it with an oversized camel tote and polished it off by adding a thick cuff at the bottom of my jeans. For an effortless feel, I like to roll up my sleeves of blazers or blouses.
What I'm Rocking:
Blazer by Macy's | Blouse by H&M | Jeans by Bebe | Cuff c/o Kendra Phillip | Shoes and Tote by ALDO | Belt is Vintage | Sunglasses c/o Lacoste
