The Catalina Reality Show Red Carpet Premiere

Last night I attended the red carpet event for The Catalina Hotel & Beach Club's new reality television show here in Miami Beach.  Its debut is set to launch May 29th, 2012 on the CW and will showcase the young and supercharged staff of the beach club and everything that happens in the hotel.  The event was filled with Miami socialites and fresh faces, which made it a great event along with the numerous photographers and Press in attendance.  Celebrity guest Kris Humphries made an appearance and it was also sponsored by Ocean Drive Magazine, The CW, and Stoli Vodka.

What I'm wearing:
Guess by Marciano dress
ALDO pumps
ESSIE nail polish

Friday Favorites!

For this week's Friday Favorites, I have some of my favorite beauty, fashion, and home decor items.  What are some of your favorite items that you use often or highly recommend?  *I was not endorsed by these brands to promote the items listed below.

Since the weather has been a little chilly lately, I love throwing on a scarf and adding layers to my outfits.  Here are some of my favorite scarves at the moment.  Black scarf) Express, Gold scarf) Express, and Leopard scarf) ZARA.

I was searching for a contemporary lamp that had this look and feel to it, with the silver detailing and clear spheres throughout the base of the lamp.  Luckily, I snagged two of these lamps for my home and I love them!

These Sally Hansen salon effects nail strips are one of my go-to beauty finds.  Being a busy mom with a career and trying to juggle everything leaves me very little time to sit down and do my nails.  Therefore, I like to use these nail strips because they apply quickly and they actually do last for the full 10 days as its package details.

Miami Beach has an organic store called "FRESH" market, where I love to stop in and grab something from.  Last time, I picked up this delicious blueberry green tea.  Green tea is beneficial in the sense that it is low in calories, can help prevent tooth decay and reduces the risk of cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiovascular disease, infection, and high cholesterol.

This cuticle remover by Essie works wonders.  Almost immediately after you roll the tip of the pen over your cuticles, it removes cuticles right away.  I purchased this at Walgreen's.

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, lovers!  For today's post I decided to showcase some of my favorite health, beauty, home or fashionable items for the week.  These are items that I recently purchased and have been using often or I highly recommend to you.

Since it's been a little chilly lately, I have been wearing a lot of hats and scarfs and my latest hat fetish includes fedoras.

Those who know me must know that I absolutely love candles, and I probably go through them in two weeks.  Anyway, this peppermint cranberry candle smells so good (available at Target).

I've been using this ELF eyeshadow palette this past week, and it's great because it has 100 shades in almost every color option.  I also found this beauty at Target for only $10.  They had other palettes for $5 as well.

This clutch was actually gifted, but I love the detailing and color of it.  It's classic with the gold clasp and chain.  What's also great about it is that the chain can be worn with it as a shoulder bag or removed as a clutch.

Since having a baby, I've been very conscience about my diet and work out regimen.  I have been getting a lot of questions regarding what I eat, how I lost my baby weight, and what my work out plan consists of.  I'll post more at a later date, but for now I want to highlight these LUNA nutrition bars.  I LOVE these bars.  They are ideal for women because the calorie content isn't really high, but you still get a high enough amount of protein in each bar.

Essie is one of my favorite nail polish brands.  Lately, I have been switching out these three tones: 1) Buy me a Cameo 2) Clambake and 3) Sand Tropez.  You can purchase Essie at almost any drugstore or generic store.

Last but not least, these Steve Madden booties are definitely one of my favorites.  The first time I spotted them was while window shopping on Lincoln Road and I knew that I had to have them.  I actually wore these babies for New Year's Eve.  They are extremely comfortable too.

What are some of your favorite items?

Black and Yellow Details

Lately, the temperature has really dropped in Miami!  I have been missing the warm weather; however, it gives me the opportunity to bring the winter items out of my closet.  For this outfit, I mixed various materials and added detailing to make it pop.  I like the peaked shoulders on this blazer, along with the gold lace embroidery and leather belting.

What I'm wearing:

Bebe Kardashian Collection black & gold blazer
Vintage black sheer blouse
Charlotte Russe thigh high boots
H&M tote
ESSIE nail polish
Forever 21 hat
MAC lipstick
