Check out my latest video, featuring three easy hairstyles for Spring. One of the hairstyles that is showcased during the video is influenced by the By Misha fashion show that I participated in during New York Fashion Week. Which one is your favorite or which would you try?

Maxi dresses are not only comfortable, but conveniently ideal for the Spring/Summer seasons and there are endless ways of styling them. Rather than keeping it minimal, I wanted to glam this grey Tiger Maxi Dress by Blush Boutique with leather and various textures. Ultra Music Festival was also this past weekend in Miami, so this look was perfect for all the rage. If you aren't familiar with the festival (or if you've been living under a rock), Ultra is without a doubt the biggest and most dynamic electronic music party/festival in the world.
Combining a graphic printed maxi with neutral colors and leather gives an edgy effect that I love to incorporate in feminine pieces. Layering pieces is also great for all-day events where it may get a little cooler at night but still warm during the day.

In lieu of stepping into "music festival season" with absolutely no idea what to wear or take to such an event, StyleByLynsee.com has put together a one-stop shop for music festival essentials. With massive music festivals like Ultra, Winter Music Conference and Coachella coming up, one can't help but think about what to pack (aside from a bright colored tutu or glow stick collection).
Lightweight tank tops are just about the easiest solution for what to wear, as they are comfortable and allow for a little breathing room. A few of my favorites thus far include:
1) Parker - Brynlee tank from Jessie Boutique 2) Threaded heart top from Sabo Skirt 3) Shredded back muscle tank from Blush Boutique
As for bottoms, a casual pair of shorts can go a long way when raging it in a music fest. Therefore, a few that I recommend are a lightweight pair of embellished shorts such as these beauties by Monc Boutique (1), or a distressed pair of denim shorts like the ones from the Style by Lynsee shop (2).
Of course, the basic essentials for an outdoor festival are a nice pair of sunnies (like these gorgeous heart shaped sunglasses from the Style by Lynsee shop) (1) and a floral headpiece. I've been loving the Dani floral crown from Blush Boutique (2) paired with heart shaped sunglasses for a playful daytime look. A few other things to pack along include GBS Beauty's Supergoop SPF 30 Anti-oxidant Infused Sunscreen Mist (5) and their Pinch Provisions Minimergency Kit (2). The minimergency kit is awesome because it includes any possible item that one would need: hairspray, glitter nail polish, emery board, lip balm, earring backs, hair bands, barrettes, facial tissues, breath freshener, emergency info card, and sparkly adhesive bandages). Additionally, having a Mophie juice pack (3) is essential for any cell phone because it allows it to charge without having to run around like a crazy person while looking for a power outlet.

As a fashion addict, I recently came across a gem of a boutique in South Florida called BLUSH Boutique. After sitting down with the fabulous BLUSH Team, I had a chance to uncover the story behind how this unique store became the leader of fashion retailers with six stores in the South Florida region. This means that if you are checking out the new Hunger Games movie at AMC Sunset Place 24, you can breeze on over to their South Miami location to snag a pre-date night look. If you're heading to a "ladies night" happy hour in Mary Brickell Village, you can shop for an outfit in their Brickell location. There's also a convenient boutique in Miami Beach for those (like me) who don't like to leave the island. Their family of stores also stretches to Coral Gables, Palmetto Bay, and Pinecrest.
Over the weekend, I stopped by their Miami Beach boutique to put together what I like to call the "Fall in Miami" look because it's still fairly warm here so sometimes we don't have the luxury of rocking those gorgeous Fall/Winter pieces. However, I found some trendy yet affordable items at BLUSH Boutique that can be interchanged. When I shop for pieces during new seasons, I like to pull staple items that can be layered and worn during other seasons as well. For example, this Noah Envelope Skort can be worn with tights during the cold weather seasons or with a pair of strappy heels when it warms up.
Mixing textures is my way of creating depth in the looks that I put together, so I paired their newest faux-snakeskin hat with my go-to vest for the winter!
Satchels are quite trendy this season, and I fell in love with the gold studded detailing of BLUSH Boutique's bag. What girl doesn't need a little gold in her life? PS. Gray is the new black this season.
