The minimalism of piecing together black and white pieces seems to be a recent unintentional addiction of mine, as it's been circulating quite often in my daily wardrobe.  I'm also quite obsessed with this Topshop crop top, so if it happens to make a cameo appearance on the blog more than usual, now you know why.  I love the way the V-cut of the top adds a feminine appeal that would otherwise be replaced with apparent cleavage or something of that sort (right?).

To contrast the edge of the black crop top and frayed shorts, I paired it with a delicate lace cardigan that oddly enough serves as a top.  Its typical role would be layered over a camisole and zipped in the back, but fashion has no rules so this happened.

Remixed Leather

"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not.  So start believing in yourself!"

It's motivational Monday and I just wanted to start off the week with one of my favorite quotes.  I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend!  I've been a little sick lately, along with my baby Taejin.  However, I had a relaxing weekend.  For today's OOTD, I've put together a mix of a very feminine look combined with a leather jacket and black booties to add a bit of an edge to it.  It gives a unique approach to your average feminine outfit.  Enjoy =]

The Red Jacket + Leopard Print

Happy Wednesday everyone!  As I mentioned in my weight loss post, I have a little baby boy now and today he's 6 months old.  It's amazing how fast time really flies by.  I feel so blessed.  For today's post, I have featured one of my go-to outfits.  I have been collecting blazers in various colors and when I need to put something together that is simple and quick, I grab one of them.  One of the essential pieces that every woman should have in her closet is a red jacket or blazer because it can be paired with a multitude of items.  In this instance, I've paired it with a leopard print top, some distressed black skinny jeans and platform booties.  This look is comfortable, yet put together.  What are some of your go-to pieces?

What I'm wearing:
F21 blazer
Arden B blouse
F21 skinny jeans
Movado watch

Peaked Shoulders + Tribal Neckwear

The weekend is approaching, which gave me more motivation to put together this edgy yet chic look. What makes it so unique is each and every one of the little details that bring it all together.  I purchased the black top from ZARA, and what I love about it is the structure of the shirt with its high peaked shoulders.  I paired it with a mini skirt that has line detailing throughout the pattern as well as the layered fabric toward the top.  I also added a gold tribal necklace as a great statement piece, patterned tights, and basic black booties.  I kept my hair pulled back and added simple earrings to shy away from adding too much to the outfit.  Let me know what you guys think!

Also, most of the items included in my post are no longer for sale but I've included some similar items that you can purchase.  Simply rollover the images to purchase them.

What I'm wearing:
