DIY: Slimming Belly Wrap


The Fourth of July is right around the corner and the possibility of wearing a bikini for tomorrow's cookout or day at a lake-house is quite likely.  To curb the dreaded "how am I going to squeeze into this without appearing bloated" moment, I'm sharing my at-home slimming belly wrap to help lose inches off the waist in one night (insert Jennifer Hudson singing One Night Only here).  In all seriousness, I love to apply this belly wrap the night before I have a special event or photo shoot because it helps tighten up the core and get rid of fluid-based toxins.  I recently shot with Alexander Tamargo for the 2nd Escape Miami Lounge which will take place during Mercedes-Benz Swim Week, and applied this wrap pre-shoot.

Bikini Slim Down Results with DeliverLean

For those who don't know, I began a "Bikini Slim Down" with DeliverLean about one month ago and the benchmark is almost up for completion.   This can only mean one thing - it's time to share my results.  Let me preface this by stating that I am only sharing my results to give readers an idea of what to expect from eating clean with DeliverLean's meal plan and living a healthy lifestyle.  Additionally, staying active is added into the mix of a slim down because the pair go hand in hand.

DIET
My meal plan with DeliverLean primarily consisted of pescatarian and vegan options with no gluten.  Cold-pressed OnJuice juices and raw desserts were also added to my plan, which made it even better.




A typical day of my meal plan:
Breakfast - Cultured coconut yogurt parfait with organic granola, mango, blueberries and raw cashews
Lunch - Candy corn salad with corn, grapefruit, mandarin oranges, hearts of palm and vinaigrette
Dinner - Herb mahi scallopine, quinoa cake and lemon dijon kale
Dessert - Gluten-free molten chocolate lava cake

WORKOUT REGIMEN
Each morning, I performed a P90X3 workout (30 minutes) followed by 200 squats and a walk to the park with my little guy.  I also incorporated ab-focused exercises in the evenings, such as Tone It Up.

SLIM DOWN TIPS
1) Drink a glass of water upon waking up to speed up metabolism
2) Drink a detoxifying tea in the evening


RESULTS
Over the span of a month, I slimmed and toned my body while losing 2 inches in my waistline and about 8 pounds.
