My hair has gone through a damaging rollercoaster over time, but my latest haircare routine has been keeping it smooth and silky. To begin, I’ve recently fallen in love with Suave’s newest collection – Coconut Oil Infusion shampoo, conditioner and damage repair oil treatment. The 3-step system visibly repairs two years of damage and leaves hair luscious and healthy-looking. After using it, I’ve noticed a difference in the softness and weight of my hair. Since I live in Miami (also known as humidity central), Suave’s Damage Repair Oil Treatment helps tame flyaways while delivering a healthy and long-lasting shine. Many of Suave’s collections are salon proven to work as well as luxury brands. Awhile ago, I damaged my hair by applying an ombre dye job and let’s just say it was a nightmare. In an effort to strengthen my hair, I tried a number of shampoo brands but failed to get the result I was looking for. Therefore, Suave’s Coconut Oil Infusion collection has brought my hair back to life! I also love how affordable the products are, as I snagged these from Walmart.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and Coconut Grove’s go-to beauty salon decided to spoil me over the weekend. As a mom with nearly zero time to get my hair or nails done, Hair by Hisham catered to my every want or need as soon as I walked in the door. To be completely honest, I was long overdue for a haircut (my ends looked like they had been through the Amazon rainforest’s swamp holes and back).

“Ultimately, being a fierce version of yourself helps push you even further to achieve your goals and conquer the world”
When I first started working out and getting into the fitness world, I imagine that I looked like a helpless sloth attempting to exercise my way through the treacherous gym without any proper knowledge of what I was doing. However, over time I realized that you can do anything you set your mind to if you believe in yourself. When I’m working out, I like to think that my alter ego comes out, similar to the way Beyonce turns into Sasha Fierce on stage when she’s performing (although I look nothing like Beyonce when I’m in the gym). Let’s call it – Lynsee Fierce.
