With 2018 in full swing, it’s time to grow up and #GlowUp! We all have that moment in our lives where we decide to make some changes that will better ourselves. This year, I’m focusing on taking better care of my body and stepping up my skincare game. Although I’ve been working out and eating well, I’m really taking some time to take better care of what’s inside. As warm and fuzzy as that sounds, sometimes I struggle with feeling confident about who I am. Everybody wants to feel confident in their own skin, so I’ve taken steps to reevaluate what truly makes me feel good about who I am.
Time is of the essence, and I’m notorious for taking my time for granted. Rather than trying to do a million things at once, my priority is to be present in the moment. For example, setting aside electronics, doing a stretching routine to clear my mind, drinking my morning coffee on the balcony, or sitting down to eat dinner with my son.
Staying consistent with my nutrition and exercise is a constant battle, but I find it becomes easier the more I continue instilling healthy habits day by day. For example, drinking a huge glass of water every morning after I wake up or working out at the same time every day. As simple as it may sound, it helps immensely.
In the past, I have been pretty careless about my skin and unfortunately had to learn the hard way the importance of it. Hence, my GLOW UP. I used to go to sleep without washing my face, in full makeup, simply out of laziness. Therefore, I’m stepping up my skincare game with Olay Cleansing Infusions, and my skin has been feeling so smooth and moisturized. I’ve been using the Olay Micropolishing Cleansing Infusion Hydrating Glow Facial Cleanser with Ginger and Citrus in the mornings and evenings, as well as the body wash after my morning workouts. The collection is also available in Deep Sea Kelp with Aloe!
The best part about them is that they contain exfoliates that break down as you wash. As a result, I’ve noticed less discoloration and more radiance. Essentially, they draw out impurities and hydrate the skin for a natural glow. Feel free to try it and start your own #GlowUp from Walgreen’s here: http://spr.ly/Infusions-Walgreens17.
