Hey guys! I posted a new video up for today, October Favorites. Although I typically post Friday Favorites, I decided that I’m going to start doing a monthly video to sum up all of my favorite health or beauty products instead. I hope you enjoy 🙂
Happy Monday ladies (and gentlemen)! I don’t know about you, but I love receiving packages in the mail. It’s almost as if it’s Christmas via the FedEx man. Over the weekend I received my August myGlam Bag, which I absolutely love because it’s filled with summer beauty goodies that I can’t wait to try out! The myGlam Bag is a great way to try out new beauty products that you might not normally go out and purchase yourself. The products are chosen by other beauty experts as well, so it’s a win-win. In this month’s myGlam Bag, I receive the following:
eclos Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream
eclos Cellular Activator Facial Serum
Demeter Roll on Perfume Oil
Salty Glama-ZODI Eye Shadow
Circus by Andrea’s Choice Nail Polish (hot pink <3)
So far, I’ve tried out the eclos products and I love the way they make my skin feel. I’m looking forward to testing out the others as well.
Happy Friday, guys and dolls! I love trying out new products, and these items are some of my favorites at the moment. Some of them were featured in previous posts from MyGlam bag or other posts as well. I highly recommend the following items, however.
I love this nail polish as an added layer to the tip of another color (i.e. neon yellow or bubble gum pink)
This item came in my Cosmopolitan Splash 2012 gift bag and it’s great for my hair when I’m at the beach or by the pool because I can add some moisture to my hair quickly
This lip gloss was featured in myGlam bag yesterday, but it’s my new favorite go-to beauty item. It keeps my lips moist throughout the day and feels amazing.
This item was gifted, but it’s the BEST full body exfoliation product that I’ve ever tried. It’s handmade, smells delicious, and makes my skin feel smooth after applying it.
This month’s June MyGlam Bag is probably one of my favorites! The theme “Out All Night” features beauty products that are perfect for a girl’s night out or night on the town.
What’s in my June MyGlam Bag?
Philosophy Oxygen Gel Cream
Living proof Nourishing Styling Cream
Marbella Permanent Eyeliner Pen
Since I was traveling over this past weekend, I thought I would show you what’s in my travel makeup bag. Of course I don’t like to take all of my cosmetics with me while I’m traveling, but I keep the essential items. I also kept all of these items in one of my Glam Bags since it’s the perfect travel sized bag. Check it out!
What’s in my Travel Makeup Bag:
Benefit Eyebrow kit
Urban Decay Glide-on eyeliner
Milani liquid eyeliner
Maybelline nude lipstick
MAC pressed powder
L’Oreal Magic Souffle foundation
Happy Monday everyone! After working out early this morning, I’m feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the upcoming week. One of my greatest tips is to work out in the morning because it gives you more energy for the rest of the day and you have it “out of the way.” Over the weekend, I had so much to do but I managed to squeeze in some time for me to relax with my baby boy.
I’m not sure if you recall, but last month I created a post about my April MyGlam Bag and what I received. If you missed it, check it out here. It’s a monthly subscription where you receive various high quality beauty products. It’s quite a deal for the pricing that they offer considering the brands included in each bag and the quality of product. This month’s items are pretty good. I love incorporating a bold red lip to certain looks so I can’t wait to try out the red lipstick.
For today’s Friday Favorites, I decided to do something a little different by showcasing some of my favorite products for the week but also how these products became some of my beauty secrets. Plenty of ladies have items that they use as quick tips or shortcuts to achieving something convenient in terms of beauty. These are items used on a consistent basis for me and I will explain why.
1) Toothpaste – Oddly enough, I dab a little toothpaste on a blemish when it surfaces because it helps dry it up quickly.
2) Scotch Tape – When I am creating a very dramatic smokey eye for an event or night time look, I achieve this by lining the edge of my brow bone with scotch tape to give it definition.
3) Baby Oil – When I need to clean up the edge of my eye makeup or any eyeshadow fall out from applying, I take a Q-tip and it quickly comes off with a small amount of baby oil.
4) 100% Acetone – Ever since the first time I used this, I won’t ever go back to the typical nail polish remover. This removes nail polish much quicker and more effectively.
5) Band-Aids – If I want to add detail or lining to my nails, I use these to create a nice clean line.
As you may know, I bring you a display of my favorite items of the week for my Friday posts! Anyway, here are my chosen products of the week. Let me know what some of your favorites are.
Truvia – This natural calorie-free sweetener is the perfect substitute for your standard sugar, which is filled with calories
The Power by Rhonda Byrne Book – This book is full of powerful words and thoughts that help motivate me to create an affluent life
L’Oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Foundation – This BY FAR my favorite drugstore foundation because it applies so smoothly, it’s lightweight, and requires no setting. It’s amazing!
Sally Hansen Smooth Perfect Nail Polish – These pastel colored nail polishes are perfect for the spring season!
For today’s “Friday Favorites,” I’ve featured my favorite items of the week. I absolutely love Bath & Body Works candles and candle holders. They create a sleek finish to your candles to make any room look incredible, in addition to their delicious scent. As most of you know, I have a slight obsession with LUSH products because they are handmade and the quality is unbelievable. Therefore, I have featured one of their face masks which leaves my face feeling smooth and defined. As for nutritional items, I have been snacking on these Flax crackers with hummus as a healthy snack. I also featured Ronzoni’s Healthy Harvest whole wheat pasta because it’s a great substitute for the classic white pasta which is not as healthy for you. Enjoy your weekend ladies and gents! XOXO.
