All Blue Everything with 2B Bebe
Exposed midsections have been raging for the past few seasons, and an ab-flashing piece can be both sexy and bold. On the other hand, it can be quite an obstacle to dive into (eating bird food and doing a strenuous ab workout every day might not sound that exciting). However, there are pieces that provide a slight peek of abdomen without going overboard.
With this in mind, I have really been loving this new cobalt blue peek-a-boo dress by 2B Bebe. Blue has been one of my favorite shades for the past few months. There’s something about the bold yet calming feel of the color that adds a powerful statement to any look. This particular dress is detailed with a tribal studded arrangement that really stood out when I chose this daring number. It’s the ideal date night or girls night out dress.

Back to School Series: Comfy & Casual [#2]
As part of my “Back to School Series,” a comfortable and casual outfit is only fitting for today’s blog post. After all – comfort is key during the school days! There are some days when you wake up and just want to throw on a loose-fitting top and flats to call it a day with wardrobe styling. Graphic prints are currently quite trendy, so I’ve paired a flowing crop top with a simple pair of light-washed denim shorts to keep the look very clean and crisp.
One of my go-to items for the school season is a cute pair of flat shoes and these BCBG leather flats are perfection when I’m going to be running around or on my feet all day.

Beach Cookout Chic
Summer is in full effect, along with the sweltering sweat-dripping weather. Today’s look is one of my go-to outfits for an outdoor summer BBQ or Sunday Farmer’s Market on Lincoln Road. The simplicity of rocking a bandeau top (A bra in itself? Yes please) and denim shorts gives this look a comfortably chic appeal that allows me to stay as cool as possible in Miami.
If wearing a bandeau by itself is a little too daring, throw on a sleeveless loose-fitting tank or graphic mesh top to make it a little more wearable.

Bright colors are celebrated amongst fashion bloggers and socialites in a range of pieces, as a timeless summer trend. Inspired by the vibrant aura from the 1980’s, neon tones enhance the skin’s summer glow and create a look that is radiantly confident. A delicate neon top can effortlessly be paired with some neutral high-waisted shorts and minimal accessories to pull together a standout daytime look. This particular pairing could even function as an evening look by throwing on a sexy black pump and an oversized clutch.

Cosmopolitan en Español Beach Bash Event
As a leader in the Spanish-language fashion and beauty editorial world, Cosmopolitan en Español kicked off the summer season with its annual Beach Bash hosted by Editor-in-Chief Ana Victoria Taché at Nikki Beach Miami. Presenting sponsors included Splat, Samsara Imports and L.A. Colors Cosmetics.
Nikki Beach was the ideal location to host a beach bash, with its open beach space venue along with day beds and teepees to create a relaxing atmosphere. Aside from the fabulous location, guests were greeted pleasantly while snapping photographs in front of the Cosmopolitan Beach Bash step-and-repeat. The cocktail party was designed for fun and fearless women, featuring a Splat Hair Chalk beauty/hair bar, cosmetics application by L.A. Colors Cosmetics, and alcohol-infused cupcakes by Sweet & Tipsy.

The Perfect Casual Look for the Summer
One of my favorite items for the summer is my floral shorts, which can be dressed up or down. In today’s look of the day, I put together a casual outfit that I wore over the weekend. An alternative to dressing these shorts down would be to pair them with a sheer black blouse or peplum top along with some strappy sandal heels or lucite pumps. Since I was just out running some errands and having brunch, I decided to go for a more casual look that allowed me to stay pretty comfortable.

Celebrities Mix & Mingle for a Cause with Laz Alonso + Look of the Day
Hey guys! It’s a rainy day today in Miami, so I’m just sipping my coffee and working from the comfort of my bed. For today’s post I wanted to share with you the look that I rocked for the Celebrities Mix & Mingle for a Cause event which was hosted by actor Laz Alonso (think Avatar, NBC’s Deception and Jumping the Broom) at the Shore Club hotel’s pool area. The event was uber chic – complete with a red carpet, LeSutra sponsored cocktail bar, passed light bites, a live performance by Egine, a gifting suite filled with CoverGirl goodies among many other items, and a silent auction.
My dress was by Bebe, and the perfect lightweight piece to wear to an outdoor event in the hot Florida weather. I paired it with some nude pumps to keep it fairly simple and classic.

Betsy Moss Fashion Show at Trump International Resort
Last week I collaborated with Betsy Moss and CoverGirl to showcase Betsy Moss’ newest SS 13 collection, which was held at Trump International Resort in Miami. The line had resort style pieces featuring bold prints, neutrals, and flowing fabric. My favorite picks were the red one-piece, printed maxi dress with an open back, and the printed one-piece. There is something about a one-piece/romper that is casual yet chic for any occasion.
For my look, I rocked a spring/summer dress courtesy of 2B by Bebe and it was the perfect dress for a day by the beach. I love that the top portion is flowing and open while the bottom portion adds a bit of texture with its lace fabric. The back of this dress is open, so it adds a bit of sexiness as well. I love pieces that are ultra feminine!
