What could possibly be the best part of summer, but new clothing and beautiful weather? Earlier this week I had the opportunity to meet the creative genius behind the uplifting lifestyle brand, Peace Love World, in her tranquil home. Alina Villasante built what may seem like an overnight sensation, but one can feel the genuine positivity and love through her personality which she has headlined her brand to make it what it is today. Upon a lovely welcoming into her home, I had a chance to preview the Peace Love World Spring/Summer 2014 collection during a private editor’s event over mimosas and a light brunch.

The luxury lifestyle brand incorporated a combination of its signature and new symbols in the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, featuring Love Poet, I Love Sundays (a personal favorite), Love Hippie, Peace is Powerful and Happy is the New Black. The new collection focuses on heavenly fabrics, feminine accents, and incredibly comfortable pieces for an effortless style.
When asked what the inspiration was behind this collection, Villasante says,
“This Spring I was inspired to use the gentle colors of the earth that express hope and life. Each silhouette revolves around clean lines and textured fabrics. This season was developed through my roots and love of European style using lightweight fabrics with a hint of loose knits. I believe elegance is an attitude. And our apparel empowers people to feel comfortable and confident with every move they make.”
Over the past five years, Peace Love World has also built a respectable amount of celebrity recognition through its inspirational approach. A-list stars such as Ellen, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Britney Spears, The Kardashians, Jennifer Garner, Halle Berry, Taylor Swift, and many more have been spotted in the collection’s pieces.
