For today’s “Friday Favorites,” I’ve featured my favorite items of the week. I absolutely love Bath & Body Works candles and candle holders. They create a sleek finish to your candles to make any room look incredible, in addition to their delicious scent. As most of you know, I have a slight obsession with LUSH products because they are handmade and the quality is unbelievable. Therefore, I have featured one of their face masks which leaves my face feeling smooth and defined. As for nutritional items, I have been snacking on these Flax crackers with hummus as a healthy snack. I also featured Ronzoni’s Healthy Harvest whole wheat pasta because it’s a great substitute for the classic white pasta which is not as healthy for you. Enjoy your weekend ladies and gents! XOXO.
As I mentioned in my Snapshot blog post, I would be posting my recipe for the DIY facial scrub that I used over the weekend. It’s made from everyday ingredients that you most likely have somewhere in your kitchen (and you could even eat it if you desire to do so)! This will last for multiple facials as well, so you can keep it for future use.
What’s in the scrub:
1 cup of brown sugar
1 Tablespoon of half-and-half
1/2 cup of honey
Optional: Thinly sliced cucumbers for your eyes
How to put it all together:
1) Gather all of your ingredients together.
2) Pour honey into a bowl containing brown sugar.
3) Add half-and-half.
4) Stir the mixture to form a consistent mixture.
5) Lie down in your robe or sit in a nice bubble bath, place some cucumbers over your eyes (to brighten them up), light some candles, and relax!
It’s Friday, so you know what that means…Friday Favorites! For this week, I’ve featured primarily beauty products but a few other items relating to fashion or health. I was not compensated to promote these brands by any means. Enjoy your weekend, guys!
This cleanser is one of my go-to face washes because it doesn’t leave my skin dry at all. I received this at a fashion show; however, it is most likely available at any of your local drug stores.
I have to admit, I am a sucker for protein or nutritional bars and I love these Pure & Simple energy bars by PowerBar. They satisfy my hunger and taste delicious too! I buy these from Walgreen’s.
Last but not least, this was one of my major splurges this week. I owned an iPhone before and switched back to Blackberry for some time but now I’ve returned to the infamous iPhone and I’m loving my new toy!
For this week’s Friday Favorites, I have some of my favorite beauty, fashion, and home decor items. What are some of your favorite items that you use often or highly recommend? *I was not endorsed by these brands to promote the items listed below.
Since the weather has been a little chilly lately, I love throwing on a scarf and adding layers to my outfits. Here are some of my favorite scarves at the moment. Black scarf) Express, Gold scarf) Express, and Leopard scarf) ZARA.
I was searching for a contemporary lamp that had this look and feel to it, with the silver detailing and clear spheres throughout the base of the lamp. Luckily, I snagged two of these lamps for my home and I love them!
This cuticle remover by Essie works wonders. Almost immediately after you roll the tip of the pen over your cuticles, it removes cuticles right away. I purchased this at Walgreen’s.
It’s time for another round of Friday Favorites! See below for some of my favorite items of the week, whether it be beauty, health, home, or fashion items. I was not compensated or paid by any of the following brands to review these products.
These Sephora Nail Bling Strips come in multiple different styles. I don’t think they are as great as the Sally Hansen nail strips, but they ultimately have the same effect.
Bakery name and website
Can you hear the music playing now?
The most delicious macaroons I have ever tasted. I picked these up at a local farmer’s market where different vendors from South Florida sell all of their treats and some days they also sell vintage clothing! Anyway, these were delish!
Once the jacket sleeve is removed…
The following items are some of my favorite health, beauty, home or fashionable items for the week. However, the bulk of my chosen items are beauty products with a few fashion pieces. These are products that I highly recommend or have been using often this week. I was not endorsed or compensated to review any of the items below. Mouse over any of the products to purchase them for yourself!
For those of you who use heat on your hair often (blow dryers, curling irons, flat irons, etc.), I highly recommend spraying it with this Aussie heat protecting spray. It leaves your hair feeling soft and doesn’t allow the heat to damage your hair.
These are a few of my favorite accessories of the week: 1) Studded leather collar necklace 2) Leopard belt 3) Gold watch
Happy Friday, lovers! For today’s post I decided to showcase some of my favorite health, beauty, home or fashionable items for the week. These are items that I recently purchased and have been using often or I highly recommend to you.
Those who know me must know that I absolutely love candles, and I probably go through them in two weeks. Anyway, this peppermint cranberry candle smells so good (available at Target).
I’ve been using this ELF eyeshadow palette this past week, and it’s great because it has 100 shades in almost every color option. I also found this beauty at Target for only $10. They had other palettes for $5 as well.
This clutch was actually gifted, but I love the detailing and color of it. It’s classic with the gold clasp and chain. What’s also great about it is that the chain can be worn with it as a shoulder bag or removed as a clutch.
Since having a baby, I’ve been very conscience about my diet and work out regimen. I have been getting a lot of questions regarding what I eat, how I lost my baby weight, and what my work out plan consists of. I’ll post more at a later date, but for now I want to highlight these LUNA nutrition bars. I LOVE these bars. They are ideal for women because the calorie content isn’t really high, but you still get a high enough amount of protein in each bar.
Essie is one of my favorite nail polish brands. Lately, I have been switching out these three tones: 1) Buy me a Cameo 2) Clambake and 3) Sand Tropez. You can purchase Essie at almost any drugstore or generic store.
Last but not least, these Steve Madden booties are definitely one of my favorites. The first time I spotted them was while window shopping on Lincoln Road and I knew that I had to have them. I actually wore these babies for New Year’s Eve. They are extremely comfortable too.
What are some of your favorite items?
