Although I typically post a simple blog post on “what’s in my Glam Bag,” I’ve switched it up a little by filming a quick video so you can see what’s really in it! Enjoy 🙂
Happy Monday, everyone! Who watched the Emmy’s last night? Some of my favorite looks were worn by Sofia Vergara, Julianne Hough, January Jones, and of course, Heidi Klum (who rocked that minty/seafoam dress)! Sofia Vergara’s sexy, bombshell look was gorgeous so I filmed a complete beauty tutorial to replicate her 2012 Emmy’s look. What were your favorite Emmy’s looks? Enjoy 😉

As I’m sitting here drinking my coffee, I’m reminiscing about the high school years when I used to put so much effort into painting my nails and creating special designs on each nail. Nowadays, I don’t really have plenty of time to sit down to do them so that’s why I’ve been utilizing Sally Hansen’s wondrous inventions (Sally Hansen nail strips are like the miraculous nail makeover for mothers especially). I recently discovered their latest product, Magnetic Nail Color, which is a nail polish that allows you to create a design on your nails using a magnet. Therefore, I decided to do a nail tutorial for you ladies (and maybe event some gentlemen too)!
What I love about this product is that it’s simple to use and dries quickly as well. If you’re really in a hurry, you can always spray your nails with a quick-drying finishing spray to speed up the process a bit. The magnetic nail polish adds some depth to your nails and comes in fall colors as well. I also give a brief recap on my most recent event that I attended, Gilt City Miami’s Warehouse Sale which was so much fun. Check it out below:
Happy Monday ladies (and gentlemen)! I don’t know about you, but I love receiving packages in the mail. It’s almost as if it’s Christmas via the FedEx man. Over the weekend I received my August myGlam Bag, which I absolutely love because it’s filled with summer beauty goodies that I can’t wait to try out! The myGlam Bag is a great way to try out new beauty products that you might not normally go out and purchase yourself. The products are chosen by other beauty experts as well, so it’s a win-win. In this month’s myGlam Bag, I receive the following:
eclos Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream
eclos Cellular Activator Facial Serum
Demeter Roll on Perfume Oil
Salty Glama-ZODI Eye Shadow
Circus by Andrea’s Choice Nail Polish (hot pink <3)
So far, I’ve tried out the eclos products and I love the way they make my skin feel. I’m looking forward to testing out the others as well.
Hello ladies and gentlemen! I have plenty of new projects coming up that I can’t wait to share with you, but for now I’d like to announce my new Vlog featuring videos by yours truly. I thought I would start a video channel on YouTube to add an extension to my blog that is more interactive with you! It will feature various videos about fashion, styling, beauty tips or tutorials, healthy habits and fitness. Let me know if you have any ideas of what you would like me to speak about or anything you would like me to do a video about. My first video is a quick intro with a smokey eye tutorial. Enjoy 😉
For now, allow me to introduce you to my channel:
Happy Friday, guys and dolls! I love trying out new products, and these items are some of my favorites at the moment. Some of them were featured in previous posts from MyGlam bag or other posts as well. I highly recommend the following items, however.
I love this nail polish as an added layer to the tip of another color (i.e. neon yellow or bubble gum pink)
This item came in my Cosmopolitan Splash 2012 gift bag and it’s great for my hair when I’m at the beach or by the pool because I can add some moisture to my hair quickly
This lip gloss was featured in myGlam bag yesterday, but it’s my new favorite go-to beauty item. It keeps my lips moist throughout the day and feels amazing.
This item was gifted, but it’s the BEST full body exfoliation product that I’ve ever tried. It’s handmade, smells delicious, and makes my skin feel smooth after applying it.
This month’s MyGlam bag was filled with items themed around the summer season, which I love! All of the health and beauty items came in this cute mesh cosmetics bag that would be perfect to bring to the beach.

This month’s June MyGlam Bag is probably one of my favorites! The theme “Out All Night” features beauty products that are perfect for a girl’s night out or night on the town.

Philosophy Oxygen Gel Cream
Living proof Nourishing Styling Cream
Marbella Permanent Eyeliner Pen
For this week’s Friday Favorites, I’d like to share with you guys some of my favorite hair trends for the summer! I saw these on the runway and thought they were so creative. I can’t wait to try some of them out. Sometimes, changing your hair style can make a world of a difference in your overall look. If you’re rocking some skinny jeans and a white top, do something special with your hair to make it more polished. Let me know what you think of these!
1) A twist on your average ponytail, which doesn’t look too complicated to achieve.
2) Add some hair bling with a sleek headband.
3) Incorporating hardware in your hairstyle can give you a bit of an edge.
4) The glamorous curls/waves will never go out of style.
5) Add volume to your hairstyle by teasing it at the base of your hair and pulling it back.
