Cadillac SRX

In the midst of a tretcherous avalanche-style snow storm, I can't help but reminisce on my recent driving experience with the all new 2016 Cadillac SRX. I had the pleasure of driving this crossover beauty about a week ago, and Cadillac never disappoints. In an ever-evolving world, the SRX combines Cadillac's signature structured styling with advanced technology and detailed functionality to cater to its driver's needs. It comfortably seats five with a power lift gate and Cargo Management system, which makes travel effortless. There's even a chilled glove box for keeping drinks cool.

Oh. Em. Gee.

Now, let's talk about my favorite part of the Cadillac SRX (the performance). Combining V6 power and high-tech performance features, it delivers a dynamically responsive ride that provides a completely smooth experience. It leaves no room for compromise.

Before I hop on a plane to travel to dreadfully colder climates (by dreadfully, I mean 50 degree weather), I've clearly created the illusion that I have everything together in these photos

Where exactly did the year go? As I sit here, sipping my coffee and hovering over my laptop, I can't help but wonder how the time flew by so quickly. But then again, that's pretty much every year. Somehow, we went from summer breezes to serenades of Yuletide music scattered throughout just about every store or public venue to set foot in. Aside from that, I have an endless list of holiday gifts to acquire for my four-year-old man including but not limited to dinosaur shoes, a dirt bike and Hulk anything.

Before I hop on a plane to travel to dreadfully colder climates (by dreadfully, I mean 50 degree weather), I've clearly created the illusion that I have everything together in these photos:

  • A form fitting party or daytime dress that fits like a glove and makes me feel like Wonder Woman
  • A high slit for mobility, obviously
  • Lace-up heels for running thousands of miles in
My tips for keeping it all together during the holidays:

  • Get up and dress up - simply because it's a busy time of year doesn't mean that you need to look like a hot mess. Dress up and take care of yourself.
  • Make a list - lists make me feel as though I have everything together and on track. It gives a sense of "here are my goals" and I can achieve them.
  • Take time for yourself - make sure you take breaks, and give yourself alone time for relaxation.
  • Try something you've never done before - do something fun and exciting, or go somewhere you've never gone before. For example, I went to Santa's Enchanted Forest over the weekend and it was surprisingly a really good time. I'm typically anti-holiday activities, but I had so much fun and it was a next experience for me.

Superdry Sport Collection

Aside from lounging around in my birthday suit, one can often find me in workout clothes on a daily basis. Staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle has consistently been part of my regimen, so a girl's gotta' wear cute activewear to go with it. Allow me to introduce Superdry and their recently released Sport Collection that I am impressed with. As a contemporary brand with a British style focused on fuse vintage Americana and Japanese-inspired graphics, the collection comes with high quality pieces. Comfort is a large factor in workout clothing, and the quality of fabric. I love the Superdry Sport Collection for the durability of the pieces, with a little give and take.

The Gym Running Leggings are made from a stretchy, moisture-wicking fabric that keeps me cool while active and a little zipped pocket in the back for hiding essentials that can obviously only be worn on my booty. It's perfect for bootcamp and running, when I don't want to carry a huge bag just to hold a few items. Of course, the Gym Sports Bra (as seen on Kylie Jenner) and Gym Running Zip Hoodie complement the leggings as well. Everything fits like a glove, and allows for plenty of movement without feeling constrained.

Healthy Holiday Sangria with Dasani

Holiday season is in full effect, which typically means indulgence is too. However, a little indulging doesn't have to result in gluttony. For today's post, I'm teaming up with DASANI to share one of my absolute favorite healthy cocktail recipes for my holiday parties or get togethers. This Healthy Holiday Sangria is filled with a fruitful flavor, vibrant color, and a little sparkling kick from DASANI Berry Sparkling Water. By substituting sparkling water for other sodas, it reduces sugar and calorie intake.

What you'll need:

1 apple
1 orange
1 lime
1 pear
2 cinnamon sticks
1/4 cup agave nectar
1 bottle red wine (I chose Cabernet)
1/4 cup Grand Marnier
1/4 cup brandy
1 can DASANI Berry Sparkling Water

Begin by slicing up the fruit, and placing it into a large pitcher.

Pour agave nectar, wine, Grand Marnier, and brandy into pitcher and let it sit in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours (this helps combine all of the flavors).

Before serving, top it off with DASANI Berry Sparkling Water and garnish with an orange slice and cinnamon stick. DASANI Sparkling Water also comes in lime, lemon, or black cherry. Ideally, it's the perfect mixer because it contains zero calories, zero artificial colors, and it's caffeine-free. For more easy holiday party recipes, visit this Pinterest board. DASANI Sparkling Water is available at Walmart and it's perfect for the holidays.

Disclaimer: You must be 21 to consume alcoholic beverages. When doing so, please drink responsibly. No drinking and driving, and no drinking and texting! This post is sponsored by acorn on behalf of DASANI.

Sleeveless in Miami

One of the greatest aspects of having little to no boobs is that you can rock a lace bralette without having to worry about them falling out or knocking you in the jaw on your daily grocery run.

This past week has been quite hectic, as worldly travelers drew to Miami for its annual Art Basel escapade. Ever since 1970, Art Basel has connected premium galleries and art collectors from all over the world. In essence, celebrities and elite influencers could be seen mingling and art-gazing throughout the city all week long. Once December hits, I tend to gravitate towards black attire (head to toe). Hence, this effortless all-black look. A sleeveless coat is perfect for Miami's barely breezy winters, and it's such a versatile piece to be worn with almost anything.
