Agua Spa at Mondrian South Beach

Did somebody say "spa?" Why yes, I did.

Agua at Mondrian South Beach is without a doubt a signature indulgence for the hotel, set on the stunning waterfront of Biscayne Bay. Despite my superwoman powers, I occasionally need a little R&R (rest and relaxation) which requires a manicure and pedicure from Agua. Upon a warm welcome from the amazing ladies at the spa, I relaxed (and did a little snapchatting) from their tranquil waiting room while I waited for an epic mani-pedi moment.

The 4,000 square foot spa features six treatment rooms equipped with a multitude of services, along with its signature Milk and Honey treatments. Agua at Mondrian is also one of the only two spas in the country to carry products by SJAL, which are incredible for the skin. Along with spa services, Agua offers access to the Mondrian's beautiful swimming pool, set amid sun-soaked lounge pillows, lush gardens and hammocks. Aside from its beauty services, the Mondrian is my favorite hotel in South Beach for its gorgeous Asian-inspired decor and Sunday poolside parties with an energetic vibe.

For more information or to book an appointment at Agua, visit the Mondrian South Beach website.

Fit for a Queen

I've never quite been a fan of anything with the word "maxi" attached to it - skirts, dresses, pads, etc. However, this maxi dress caught my eye with its peek-a-boo front and sheer material. I love its mobility with shorts underneath, for those moments when I'm running miles in 5-inch heels of course.    I'm forever loving an all-black look, and the versatility of this dress is incredible.

Mitsubishi Lancer GT

Oops, Mitsubishi did it again.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I was recently featured on the cover of Brickell Magazine's Best Dressed issue and the company honored participants shortly after the magazine was released. We gathered at The Intercontinental hotel for an evening of luxury with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, while the issue's photos flashed throughout screens in the entire lobby area. For such an occasion, I decided to wear this cobalt blue jumpsuit by my honeys over at Hot Miami Styles. Of course, I rolled up in the pure white Mitsubishi Lancer GT.

This model offers the proverbial "a lot of car for the money" with its new white contrast seat and door stitching, a 9 speaker premium sound system, newly designed alloy wheels, and its fuel-efficiency.  I was actually quite surprised by my driving across what felt like the entire country, and barely burning half of a tank. The eye-catching GT offers a combination of sporty performance with luxury features, and we all know my love for luxe anything.

Nudes and Neutrals

Nude and/or neutral pieces have been my solid go-to lately, as they simplify everything and pull a look together effortlessly. I wore this particular look for a yacht outing with MyHabit, and I threw a lightweight trench over a feminine salmon Hot Miami Styles romper and paired it with metallic accents.

Labor Day White

"When you feel good and you're truly happy with yourself, nothing can get in your way"

Labor Day is approaching, which also means the infamous fashion faux pas of "no white after Labor Day" kicks in as well. Personally, I believe in wearing whatever you feel like throwing on (as long as it makes you conquer the world). In fact, I recently did an interview for an upcoming project that I'm working on, and was asked my opinion on fashion versus style. Fashion is more of the approach to putting together your look and feel, while style is how you carry yourself. Many individuals approach me and ask about certain pieces, claiming that they could "never pull that off." Confidence is key in every aspect of your life. When you feel good and you're truly happy with yourself, nothing can get in your way.

Brickell Magazine Best Dressed Issue

Brickell Magazine's 2015 Best Dressed issue has been released, and I'm excited to announce that I was featured for the cover story! We had the pleasure of collaborating with an incredible group of talented professionals in Miami, and the team at Brickell Magazine who put together a gorgeous photo shoot at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. It was only fitting that it be shot in a hotel where President Obama stays when in Miami.

Here's my full interview:

Creative Director and Founder, LHK Empire

Her style:
Feminine, eclectic, and chic

Style icon:
Christine Centenera

 In her closet:
Jason Wu, Yves Saint Laurent, BCBG, Missoni, Diane von Furstenberg, Christian Louboutin, Cameo, Finders Keepers, and Josh Goot.  I have a mix of affordable and high end pieces.  I love unique cuts, textures, and items that accentuate femininity

Where she shops:
For unique pieces, I love to shop at Style Mafia, Neiman Marcus at Bal Harbour, Jessie Boutique, Hot Miami Styles, and Net-a-Porter.

Most prized fashion possession:
My gold bangles and rings - they complete any look

Memorable fashion faux pas:
I had one moment where I thought I would try out multiple fashion trends at once, and that this would be genius.  It wasn't.  I had everything from color blocking, bold prints, metallics, and platform shoes all in one look.  It was like a combination of tropical cocktails all over my body

Must-haves for the season:
A cool grey suit, or a one-shoulder piece

Style tip:
Rock a pair of nude pumps to elongate your legs and give you a long, lean appearance.
