"Sometimes, we don't realize that our bodies need to reset in order to gain power over the motivation that drives us to never give up on who we are"

Although birthday celebrations are filled with a significant amount of excitement, the entire month of June served as my little joy ride to paint the town red (and every other color in the rainbow). A month of madness in Miami and the Midwest was conquered and to rejuvenate my mind and body, I completed a 5-day juice cleanse in addition to revamping my entire workout routine. Sometimes, we don't realize that our bodies need to reset in order to gain power over the motivation that drives us to never give up on who we are. Therefore, I'm teaming up with PUMA to encourage you to make and adhere to a challenge that you set for yourself ( #NoMatterWhat ). My challenge has been to reset my mind and body internally, as well as discovering new ways to test my body. After all, energy in means more energy out!

Certainly, no workout is complete without the appropriate activewear and training shoes. As of lately, I've been rocking the PUMA IGNITE XT training shoes and they are undeniably comfortable. The exclusive IGNITE foam gives me the traction, support, agility and energy return that is needed during intense workouts. As for activewear, comfort and stretch compression fabric is key for my workouts. I like to be able to move in my workout clothes, without feeling like I can't breathe. My big shift has moved to intense boxing, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), heavy weightlifting, and strength and power bootcamps.

How are you going to challenge yourself?

What I'm rocking:

Pink Two-Piece Set

If you've been keeping up with my blog for awhile, then it's no surprise that I love a two-piece set for its simplicity and breathability. For the sake of extreme perspiration, this bright pink two-piece short set is a newfound favorite of mine. Mary Brickell Village, a local shopping center near downtown Miami, carries some hidden gems such as this set. Upon reassessment of the area, I've found a number of unique pieces ducked off in boutiques throughout.

The downside of wearing a two-piece set or romper on a rather short individual is the mere fact that it appears to give you that "I'm a fourth-grader again" look. However, wearing nude heels helps knock that perception by elongating the legs and adding some height. You're welcome.

What I'm rocking:

Style Mafia

One of the beauties of residing in Miami Beach is the gorgeous scenery. The Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a unique, subtropic oasis filled with refreshing landscapes and a tranquil aura.  In the midst of quite sedative 94 degree weather, I found an appreciation for the beauty that surrounds the vicinity.    While I didn't perspire outrageously, there was a moment when it was a must that I strip off this sheer blazer and rock out in my itty bitty crop top and black pants.  However, if wearing a blazer is a must, then this Style Mafia beauty is essential for any Miami closet.

What I'm rocking:
