Let’s face it – Summer is coming to a close, but beach days in Miami occur pretty much every day of the week. If I could live on a private beach or island, keep my feet in the sand, and eat endless snacks with my son, my life would be complete. Therefore, I’m teaming up with Honey Maid to highlight some of my family’s favorite wholesome snacks for everyday beach trips (since I clearly take trips to the beach Monday through Friday).  As a single mom, sometimes it’s not always easy being a “Team of Two” but we make it happen.  From making him a wholesome breakfast, snacks and lunch, playing with race cars, chasing him around, and teaching him to swim, it’s all worth it.  No matter how things change, what makes us wholesome never will.

Whenever my son and I plan a beach trip, I like to create little “bento boxes” of wholesome, nutritious snacks that we both love. I think it’s fair to say that pretty much every child loves Honey Maid graham crackers, since life began. Therefore, we throw some fresh fruit, raisins, graham crackers, and cheese into bento boxes for a delicious oceanside treat.
