Happy Martin Luther King Day! The Wynwood Arts District in Miami holds over 70 art galleries, retail store, restaurants, and is home to one of the biggest open-air street art installations in the world. As one of the most prominent art districts in the United States, I love to graze through the various artwork on the weekends to take in Miami’s numerous art spaces and galleries.
This weekend was a little chilly (and be chilly I mean 60 degrees of course) so I wore my silver threaded sweater with a textured Express flippy skirt and knee high boots. Whenever the weather gets brisk in Miami, the locals tend to break out the boots and peacoats. It’s our way of pulling layers out of the closet for what appears to be “winter in Miami.”
This lace textured skirt is a beautiful way of enhancing feminine features, as the top portion remains slim and flips out at the bottom which is why I love it so much. It can also be dressed up with a silk blouse or dressed down by rocking a denim shirt and ankle boots.
